Jamal's Story

This is an illustrated story of a young boy who is a seasoned foster child.
He tells his story from standing outside the Family Courts to standing outside his new foster home with his social worker.
Attachments can be confusing for children who are removed from their families, and the attachment styles already hard-wired into them can be destructive. The little boy makes a friend—a young bird named Jamal. The two become great companions, share their stories, and work out ways to feel happy and safe.
